Well, I am going to talk about my town.
To begin with, I’d like to say that the name of my town is Kolomna. Kolomna is a very picturesque and quiet town. Kolomna is not far from Moscow, it is one of the biggest towns in Moscow Region.
In the first place, Kolomna is famous for its Pastila Museum and Marinkina Tower. They are both situated in the Old part of our town. You can visit our Marshmallow Museum, walk in the museum garden and taste apple marshmallow there. Marinkina Tower has its name because Marina Mnishek, Lzhedmitriy’s wife, was shut up in the Tower, where she dead. There you can see one of the largest Speed-skating Centres. Kolomna is also famous for its churches and cathedrals.
As for me, I like my town very much, because it has lots of beautiful places where you can rest and relax. I like walking in the Old Kolomna because it’s very cosy and clean there. Here you can sit on the bank of the river and admire wonderful nature.
Frankly speaking, I’d like to stay in my town after leaving school, because I have all the opportunities to get good education here. I have lots of friends there and don’t want to live far from my parents.
