Tyler Hoechlin
Tyler Lee Hoechlin <span>(September 11, 1987) is an </span>American <span>actor who got his big
break starring as </span>Tom Hanks <span> son in the film Road
to Perdition (2002). For
television he is known for playing the role of Martin Brewer on </span><span>7th Heaven </span><span>and the role of </span>Derek Hale <span>on the </span>MTV <span>series </span>Teen Wolf. <span>Hoechlin was born in </span><span>Corona, California<span>, to Lori and Don Hoechlin. He also has two brothers,
Tanner and Travis, and a sister, Carrie Hoechlin
began playing baseball at the age of seven. He played infield for </span>A</span>rizona
State University <span>and the </span><span>Battle
Creek Bombers of the Northwoods League</span>. <span>In 2008, he played infield for the </span><span>UC Irvine Anteaters.</span>
<span>He
began acting at the age of nine. His performance as Michael Sullivan, Jr. in Road
to Perdition led to him
getting the role of Martin Brewer in the show 7th
Heaven in 2003. Hoechlin was nominated for a 2004 Teen Choice Award</span><span>for Breakout Male Star. He
starred in the 2007 David
DeCoteau film Grizzly
Rage and was in the 2008
movie Solstice</span>. <span>He also starred in an episode
of Castle</span><span>in
its second season. He appeared alongside Owen
Wilson and Christina Applegate in the 2011 movie Hall
Pass. He also plays werewolf Derek Hale in the television series Teen
Wolf</span>.
