The Barkers are in the garden near the house. They always come to their garden in spring and summer. Chase, their dog, and Smokey, their cat, like to play in the garden. But now they are not playing. Smokey is sleeping in the sun on the garden bench and Chase is sleeping under it. John and Sally are playing ping-pong. They often play it in the after­ noon. Mr Barker is sitting in the armchair. He is reading a book. Mrs Barker is sitting in the armchair next to her husband. But she is not reading. She is listening to music.
You can see the house the Barkers live in. But you can’t see the rooms in the picture. The windows up­ stairs are the children’s bedroom windows. The win­ dow on the right is John’s bedroom window and the window on the left is Sally’s bedroom window.
Sally’s room is nice and cosy. It’s always tidy. In her room she has a bed, an armchair, a sofa, and a little table next to it. Sally has no bookcase. Her books are on the shelf and her toys are in a tall cupboard next to the sofa

Баркеры в саду около дома. Весной и летом они всегда выходят в сад. Чейз,их пёс,и Смоки,их кот,любят играть в саду. Но сейчас они не играют. Смоки спит под солнышком на садовой скамейке,а Чейз спит под этой скамейкой. Джон и Салли играют в пинг-понг. Они часто играют после полудня. Мистер Баркер сидит в кресле. Он читает книгу. Миссис Баркер сидит в кресле около своего мужа. Но она не читает. Она слушает музыку.
Вы можете видеть дом,в котором живут Баркеры. Но на картинке не видно комнат. Окна наверху -- окна детской спальни. Окно справа от -- окно спальни Джона,а окно слева -- спальни Салли. 
Комната Салли милая и уютная. Она всегда чиста. В комнате есть кровать,кресло,диван и небольшой столик рядом с ним. У Салли нет книжного шкафа. Её книги на полке,а игрушки в высоком шкафу около дивана.
