My Best Holiday
All pupils and students like their school holidays. It is time to relax after hard work during the term. Holiday time means that we do not need to wake up early, there is no homework to do and we can do the things we like.
Last winter my parents decided to make my winter holiday exciting and memorable, so they took me to a mountain ski resort. The weather was great when we came. There was a lot of snow and we spent the bigger part of the day skiing and snowboarding. In the daytime we also went to the local market to buy some souvenirs and listen to the local musicians playing folk musical instruments. In the evenings we sat near the fireplace in our cosy wooden cabin having mugs of hot chocolate, and it was like in a fairy-tale.
Time flew really fast and then we left for home. But I felt it was the best school holiday of mine. My parents and I enjoyed our holiday very much.
