Еда в Англии очень вкусная, особенно мясо. Практически в любом пабе можно заказать «lamb shank» - голень барашка и сhicken curry - кусочки курицы в соусе карри. Правда по праздникам британцы себя не сильно утруждают: готовят рядовое картофельное пюре а к нему поджаривают на гриле толстые сосиски, либо куриные ножки.
Рыбу в Британии тоже любят, особенно с картошкой, - отсюда знаменитые английские «Fish&Chips», местный фаст-фуд, продающийся в киосках аналогично кебабу, шаурме и слоеным пирожкам... .

He dialed the number but nobody answered. His friends wasn't at home. He went to his room and decided to watch TV. When the TV programme was over, he slept.
