Chinese people all over the world to celebrate the New year somewhere between winter and spring. The spring festival lasts a few weeks and celebrates the earth wakes up after the cold winter.Before the New Year,families clean their homes and dekorete door with lyrics on red paper. These ornaments keep bad sex. Girls and boys get a haircut and buy new clothes.In the New Year's eve, the big family traditional dishes. In southern China, they usually eat sweet rice pudding and honey. They will stay until midnight to see the fireworks. On the first day of the new year, they usually visit friends and relatives and of course eating lots of delicious food. In the midst of the holiday season, people walk the streets with beautiful lanterns. They follow the parade, which includes big dragons, lion dancers in the coloyrful costumes and playing drums.The way the Chinese all gather together to celebrate New year's eve is a special time.
