1. Evgeny Plushenko lived in a small town in the North near the railway in the house built by his father.
2. After he had been ill for three month with pneumonia, his family moved to Volgograd.
3. There he started attending figure skating classes at the age of four.

5. Evgeny won his first competitions when he was only seven.

8. At the age of fifteen Plushenko won the 1998 World Junior Championship and finished third in the similar competitions for the adults.
9. After than he won all the biggest competitions in figure skating except the Olympic games.
10. Finally after recovering from a serious injury, in 2006 he won the gold medal in the Olympic games in Turin.
