Computers: a good or evil?
There is no doubt that technical progress and computers make our lives easier. But is it really has only positive aspects? Let’s try to investigate.
It is true that computers can save a lot of space and time. Computers can storage huge amounts of information, so we don’t need to collect papers, notes and books. And if we want to find some information we don’t need to spend hours looking through thick folios. Moreover, we can easily find useful information online. At the same time we don’t need to write many pages by hand. Thanks to the internet, we can work and buy goods from home nowadays.
On the other hand, the use of computers can lead to problems. First of all people who spend a lot of time behind the computer faces health problems: sight become worse, spinal curvature is appeared. What’s more, high volumes of information destroy analytical abilities. Students just download completed works, assignments and essays and very' often hand in even without reading them. Moreover, people can become dependent from computers. They become unable to communicate in real life.
To sum up, computers brought a lot of opportunities. Unfortunately, people faced with new problems caused by computers that should be solved.
