I had a terrific holiday this summer. My mother, my dad, my sister and I flew to Egypt last June. We stayed in a wonderful hotel. It had 5 stars. We lived in a suite. There were 2 bathrooms, a huge living room where there was the biggest TV in the world. We had a spectacular view from our balcony overlooking the sandy beach at the Red sea.We went on bus tours to the Pyramids one day. They were great.I climed on the top of one pyramid and took a selfie there. My mother was a little worried but my father was proud of me. We went inside the pyramid and crawled up to its center. When we reached a small room we saw a tomb of a pharaoh. Although they did not allow photography inside the pyramid we managed to take some amazing pictures. The next day all my friends and schoolmates could enjoy them on the net.We bought some souvenirs and sweet treats for the grandma. The next morning we had to get up early to travel to the History museum in Cairo. My sister enjoyed it the most. As you know she studies history at the local university and had read a lot about the pharaohs and stuff. We did not need to hire a tour guide because Masha seemed to know everything! Some Russian speaking tourists were following us everywhere, listening carefully to our connoisseur . They aplauded Masha for her awesome excursion in the end.
We all enjoyed the visit to Cairo and are looking forward to our next trip there. We agreed that one day was not enough to explore Cairo.
The weather was scorching all the time we were there. In the mornings we hit the beach.I was in charge of getting fresh beach towels each morning. We loved a particular spot near the sea a little bit off the main people's traffic where we could avoid noisy sales people and screaming children with their chatty moms.
I've got two friends.
It'll be sunny.
