Importance of Recycling
Recycling is collecting waste and processing it for production of new things. We all know that we should collect and sort all items that can be recycled: paper, plastic, glass, batteries, electric appliances, metal and steel goods. Why should we do it?

If people spend less energy on production, they reduce greenhouse gas emission. This way recycling helps to prevent global climate change and reduce pollution. Recycling also saves natural resources. For example, when we recycle paper, we save trees and water. In many countries schoolchildren collect waste paper helping to save forests.
