Yesterday I got up at seven o'clock. I opened the window , made my bed and did my morning exercises. Then I washed my face and dressed. In half an hour I was ready for breakfast. After my breakfast I put on my ha and coat , took my bag and went to school. Classes began at eight. As I live near my school I always walk there. We had six lessons . At 2 o'clock In the afternoon the school was over. I came home , had dinner , washed up and had a short rest. At 5 o'clock I sat down to do my homework. It usually takes three hours to do my homework.
Sometimes I go to the cinema or visit my friends in the evening.
At 8 o'clock I had supper. After supper our family got together in the living room where we talked, read newspapers and books and watched tv . At eleven o'clock I went to bed .
Many people think that if we have only one language, communication will
become easier and there will be no need to learn foreign languages. I
cannot agree with them because knowledge of foreign languages makes a
person educated and well rounded. You cannot broaden your mind if you
see the world only from the perspective of your own culture. Besides,
people are a lot more helpful if you speak their language.
In
conclusion, I would argue that we should try our best to preserve the
linguistic diversity of our planet. I think that larger cultures should
have a respect for minority languages, but first of all the younger
generation must want to preserve their native language
Today I've got five good marks at school.
