The owner cut the meat, treating each guest tidbits: pelvic bones and a shin gave honorable old men, a brisket - to the son-in-law or the daughter-in-law, a cervical vertebra - to girls, etc. The owner presented the honored guest himself with a specially prepared ram's head. The guest had to divide the head between the attendees, observing a certain ritual, in which the ancient custom of respectful treatment of guests, old people, children, close and distant relatives affected.
