Agatha Christie’s books are so popular among readers of all ages that the number of her sold books can compete only the Bible and William Shakespeare’s works. The famous writer was born on 15 September 1890 in Torquay, Devon (UK) in the Millers family. Christie is the surname of her first husband, not a pseudonym. Millers were wealthy migrants from the United States. All three children of the family got a very good education at home, including musical one. Unfortunately, Agatha had a strong fear of the stage and it prevented her from becoming a good musician.
