I would like to spend my summer holidays in the country. I like nature very much. Last holidays I had to stay in the city because my friends really wanted me to and so I did. My grandparents have a house in the country, it's located next in a village to the forest. I would like to try collecting mushrooms and berries there. I also want to swim in the river near the village and see if there is any fish. Maybe I'll try fishing too, I'm sure my grandpa will teach me how to do it. This summer is going to be amazing!
Some people are amazed at Ukraine nature. Ukraine has a great diversity of natural landscapes and wildlife. For this reason areas of Ukraine have been declared protected areas, nature reserves and National parks.
I live in Kiev, and very love this town. Kiev is among capitals of the world for its large amount of green territories and waterways in the middle of the city.
The broad Dnipro river divides Kiev in half, creating islands, beaches, and park areas right in the middle of the city.
In late April the city starts to bloom, and many people visit to the botanical garden to see the lilacs. May and June are very pleasant months in Kiev.
