"Success" is defined as achievement of something unintended or desired such as attaining wealth, fame, or prosperity. "Failure" is defined as a minor fault or defect. We all know someone who could fit into either of these categories. We may even know someone who could fit into the categories of both failure and success. There may be several aspects of a person's life that shape our view of them to be a success. One mishap in their life may reflect as a failure. I don't often judge people in my life to be one way or another, success or failure, although I will give a few examples to show my definition of the two.
One example that I could give for someone successful would be the dentist I work for. He went to school for eight years to be in a profession that he loves. Not only does eight years of college take hard work, it also takes motivation. Completing his college requirement is a great success. Not everyone can do what the dentist does, but since it was his goal, he accomplished it-making his achievement a success. I do believe that people can obtain qualities of both failure an...
