Собор объединяет десять церквей (приделов), часть из которых освящены в честь святых, дни памяти которых пришлись на решающие бои за Казань[3]. Центральная церковь сооружена в честьПокрова Богородицы, вокруг которой группируются отдельные церкви в честь:Святой Троицы, Входа Господня в Иерусалим, Николы Великорецкого, Трёх Патриархов: Александра, Иоанна и Павла Нового, Григория Армянского, Киприана иИустины, Александра Свирского иВарлаама Хутынского, размещённые на одном основании-подклете, и придел в честь Василия Блаженного[4][5], по имени которого храм получил второе, более известное название.
В названии собора упомянут ров, проходивший вдоль Кремлёвской стены и служивший оборонительным укреплением (Алевизов ров), его глубина была около 13 метров, а ширина — около 36 метров[6][7].
Собор входит в российский список объектов Всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО и является филиалом Государственного исторического музея[8].
I want to describe this room. It is a living room. This room is big and light. There is a lot of furniture there. For example, green big sofa is near to the window with red curtain. There is another small sofa in the right corner. In the centre of the room there is glass table. On the table some big green carpet is laid. In front of it there is some bright red arm-chair. There are a lot of books in the shelf that is near to right wall. Big fireplace and nice picture are next to the shelf. In my opinion this room is very cosy.

One game I LOVE is backgammon You Throw the dice and then you move your pieces around the board. It SEEMS quite easy, but in fact you NEED to be quite careful. When your piece lands on one of the other person's pieces, you TAKE it off the board and you send it back to the beginning.You WIN by getting all your pieces to the end and off the board. Some people PREFER chess, but l DON’T UNDERSTAND that game. Right now, I AM WAITING to have a game with my brother. He IS DOING his homework. I usually win, so I think he doesn't want to play a game with me!
I know that British schoolchildren have already seen centre of Moscow and the Kremlin.
