Modern toys are very different from those that were many years ago. They are more colourful and even intelligent. Modern toys are interactive and can do many things. Dolls for example can "eat" and "drink". They can "speak" and "laugh". There are a lot of toys that help to educate children. But the most popular toy for many modern children is, of course, their mobile phones. It can even replace real friends as it can do nearly everything. So modern toys may sometimes be dangerous. It's hard to say that modern toys are better than the old ones, they are just more modern and that's all.
