Окраска осьминогов различная, может изменяться и подстраиваться под окружающую среду. В основном осьминоги коричневого цвета, если они болеют или напуганы, а когда они сердятся, то они становятся красными. От головы осьминога отходят 8 щупалец. На щупальцах есть присоски которые улавливают запах еды.
