Have a look at my friend. He's sitting at the window in our classroom. His name is Tom. He is twelve years old. He is tall and slim. His eyes are large and brown. He is a handsome boy. He is very calm and he always sits quietly. It seems as if he is listening to the teacher very attentive­ly. But in reality he doesn't listen to her. He is fully in his dreams.

I can say that Tom is a bit lazy. He doesn't like to read school books. He doesn't like them at all. They seem to be very boring to him. He doesn't like to do his homework. He never does it in reality. But when he does it, he makes a lot of mistakes, especially in spelling. I try to help him, but he doesn't even want to listen to me.

But he adores reading adventure stories. He dreams to travel somewhere and find a treasure hidden by the pirates. He draws ships, pirates, islands, and caves with a lot of things made of silver and gold. He can't think of anything else. His fantasy has no bounds. He is all in his dreams.

Our classmates like to listen to his stories, because they are very interesting and captive. But they are sure it is not very useful for him to invent stories and not to study well. They think he is not serious enough. Sometimes I think that he will become a very famous writer because he invents a lot of funny and interesting things in his stories. He tells little children his new stories and they often ask him to complete them and write something new. They like Tom and his fantastic stones.
