I spent my holiday inCrimea. I like the Black sea. On 5thJuly we left our town and went to Alushta Alushta is one of the largest townsin Crimea. It’s situated on the seaside between high beautiful mountains. Itwas a great time. We swimmed, walked by seaside, and visited many sights. Wehad an excursion to the Valley of the Ghosts, which is situated near Alushta. It was incredible sight, because I’ve never seen anything like this! Also we’vevisited the Dzhur-Dzhur waterfall, the Marble Cave, and the Red Cave. Thosedays were amazing and unforgettable; I wished if I had more days to spend overthere. My holidays were exciting and full of joy. I think that Crimea is a realparadise on earth. I dream to visit it again

'Morning in a pinewood' is one of the bright works of the painter Ivan Shishkin. The masterpiece is impregnated with admiration of nature. In the picture, everything looks very harmoniously. Green, blue and bright yellow tones create the effect of nature which hardly woke up from a dream. On the background, it is possible to see bright golden shades are a hint on the making the way sunbeams. They give to the picture the solemn atmosphere. On the ground still there is the fog that looks very realistic, and if to concentrate on this detail of a masterpiece, it is even possible to experience morning cool.
The picture "Morning in the Pine Wood" is very bright and so realistic that seems, as if it not the masterpiece of a brush, but a picture of the forest landscape. Each detail of the picture is represented professionally, with love and awe. In the foreground, we see the pine which is tumbled down with its roots up and on which bear's cubs are climbing up. They are frolic, causing positive emotions. For them, the morning of a new day is the real holiday. Bear cubs are so kind and harmless like they are tamed.
Not so long ago I read "A Wrinkle in Time", a science fantasy novel. It was written by Madeleine L'Engle, an American author, in 1962. In 2012 the book was translated into Russian.
The main characters of the book are Meg Murry, her brother Charles Wallace and her classmate Calvin. Meg is fourteen. She longs for her father, who has mysteriously disappeared. He is a scientist. Together the children travel through space and time to other planets and save Dr. Murry and the world.
I like the novel very much because it shows the battle between light and darkness, goodness and evil.
