Hello from Russia. How are you?
I wanted to write you a letter about our schools. Well, we study for 5 days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday). Mostly people study for 11 years. Sometimes only for 9. We have different lessons in school. They are: Russian, Maths, Literature, History, P.E., Music, Art, Biology, Geography, Handcraft and Social Studies. We study from 4 to 8 hours.

I have a lot of favorite hobbies. I love to read, I love to ride a bike, and I really like the story. But my most important hobby is drawing. I started painting when I was still small. Mom and dad often gave me markers of different colors, colored pencils and beautiful, snow-white drawing paper. I liked to paint on a clean sheet something beautiful, plants, animals, and sometimes people. Therefore, I often made postcards for my mom and dad myself. However, my first drawings were not the best. Something turned out crooked, something did not work at all. But I always continued to draw. Now, I think I draw very well. My works hang on the walls in my room. I often send my creations to children's drawing contests and often get diplomas and prizes.
У меня очень много любимых увлечений. Я люблю читать, я люблю кататься на велосипеде, и мне очень нравится история. Но мое самое главное хобби – это рисование. Я начал рисовать, когда был еще маленьким. Мама с папой очень часто дарили мне фломастеры самых разных цветов, цветные карандаши и красивую, белоснежную бумагу для рисования. Мне нравилось изображать на чистом листе что-нибудь красивое, растения, животных, иногда людей. Поэтому я нередко сам делал открытки для мамы и папы. Однако, первые мои рисунки были не самыми лучшими. Кое-что получалось криво, кое-что вообще не получалось. Но я всегда продолжал рисовать. Теперь, мне кажется, я рисую очень хорошо. Мои работы висят на стенах в моей комнате. Я часто отправляю свои творения на конкурсы детских рисунков и часто получаю дипломы и призы.
