New Year's Day
New Year's Day is a special and official holiday which is selebrated all over the world. Russian people selebrate it on the 1st (first) of January. Everybody congratulates each other and invites close persons for the holiday on the eve of New Year.
Besides, there are a lot of traditions about this day. For example, we can't realize this day without "russian salad" and <span>tangerines. The holiday is accompanied with changing gifts between friends and other people. Presents can be different and you can take whatever you dreamed about.
There is a tradition of meeting new year while watching presidet's speach on TV. People wait for the beginning of year and have fun, when they sit at the tables and enjoy it.</span>
