I would like to talk about Moscow.
If St Petersburg is the imperial crown of Russia, Moscow is its heart and capital. Moscow is situated in the centre of the European part of Russia, in the interfluve of the Oka and Volga rivers and the centre of the Moscow region. The city’s main waterways artery is the Moskva River, whose middle reaches run through the city zone and debouch into the Oka River. Moscow is the economic centre of Russia, the main supplier of goods and services, human resources, scientific and innovative solutions, and advanced technologies. It is the political centre as well.
I was born in this city and I love it with whole my heart. There are great places to go out , lots of exhibitions, forums, concerts, theater plays or operas! You can find great restaurants that are not so expensive,. In most European cities, most shops and places are open a maximum of 12 hours a day, 6 days out of 7, while in Moscow it's 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. There are many parks you can go out and not very expensive cinemas to hang out with your friends. You can find great opportunities to practice nearly all kind of sports from football to mountain climbing or sailing.
Talking about cons in Moscow the worst thing is actually traffic. You need ages to get from one place to another. The underground is beatiful but it is too noisy and the trains are old. Another unpleasent thing is pollution. The air is extremely polluted by transport and other factors. There are a lot of rubbish on the ground, especially when you come to the park it is shocking. People are not very friendly. Many of them never smile, start swearing when you ask them where to go or just simply say that they don't know.
