Major - переводится как основной, главный. Но может ещё быть вариант совершеннолетия. Что такое основной праздник я хз, но для совершеннолетия вполне может подойти бар-мицва.
Local - местный. День города, например, или что-нибудь относящееся к местным событиям/людям/т.п.
National - национальный. По аналогии с местным. Только относится к нации.
Далее религиозный. Бар-мицва тоже вполне подойдёт, но что-то типа рождества будет лучшим примером.
