May has been taking photos ever since her parents bought her a camera when she was only ten. At first she only took colour snapshots of friends and family, but then she changed to black and white. Lately she has been shooting a lot of nature photographs. This year she has competed in three amateur photography contests. In fact, last month she won second prize for her night-time photo of a lightning storm.
Carlos began playing music when he got an electric guitar for his twelfth birthday. He hasn't stopped playing since.
