I think, that your father is right. Because he really wants you to be safe. It is a night club and it can be dangerous for you.
Turning to situation in my family - it is just the same. My parents don't want me to go to some late night parties or something like that. I think, that it is normal, because we are only teenagers. But if I really need to go somewhere - I make some steps to reach my goal. For example if I want to go to my friend's b-day party but my mother doesn't want me to go there I give all contacts of my friend's parents to her and after that I need to talk to my mother and father, that I'll be in safety. They call to her parents to be sure I will be ok there and only then they let me go. I think, your parents will think about it and maybe they will allow you to go or they will suggest you another thing to do on this day. Just let them know whom you are going to go there with and who will take you home after the party.
