THE British flag is made up of 3 colours: red, blue and white.
The colour Red represents the blood that was poured during all the wars that Britain had participated in.
The blue colours represents The sea which surrounds GB and the clear sky.
And the white colour means purity and prosperity.
At the left picture, we can see a professional skier rushing down a ski slope.
As far as I know, skiing is a very exciting but in the same challenging kind of sports activity. You have to keep your balance not to fall down. In the same time, you must avoid obstacles in the form of sticks that you have to pass without touching them.
The same goes for a windsurfer struggling with the sea or ocean waves, you also have to control your movements avoiding capsizing and undoubtedly there is also a risk injury.
So much so, we can say that both sportsmen must be proficient at these risky sports because every of them requires skills and training. There are a lot of physical movements involved in these types of activities that make them similar.
But unlike skiing surfing is a kind of sport that can be seen only on the water surface. The weather is also different. One can do skiing only in freezing temperatures, while windsurfing is done in a warm climate, for example near the coastline of Haiti.
I would say that skiing is much more popular in my country than windsurfing, simply because it is more adventurous and we have lots of snow in winter. I think windsurfing would probably be also popular if the equipment were cheaper and we had high waves in our local lakes.
