Jupiter. Saturn's magnetic field extends over one million kilometers in the direction of the sun. The shock wave was recorded " Voyager 1" at a distance of 26.2 radius
of the planet Saturn , the magnetopause is located at a distance of 22.9
radius.
Saturn has a prominent system of rings , consisting mostly of ice particles , fewer heavy elements and dust. Around the planet turns 62 currently known satellite. Titan - the largest of them , as well as the second largest moon in
the Solar System (after Jupiter's moon , Ganymede ) , which is superior
in size and has a unique Mercury satellites of the solar system a dense
atmosphere .
Currently
orbiting Saturn is automatic interplanetary station "Cassini" ,
