<span>Last week I (took) my car to the garage for a service. They promised it (would be repaired) by the end of the day. On my way home I realized I (had left) the keys to my house in the garage. At first I wanted to phone the garage from the call-box on the corner, but then I had an idea. Opposite my house some workmen (were doing) some painting. I explained to them what (had happened) and they (lent) me one of their ladders. I carried it back to the house and started to climb towards an upstairs window which I (had left) open. Unfortunately, while I (was trying) to climb in the ladder (slipped). When I (woke) up later in hospital I (was told) that I (had broken) an arm and a leg and that a policeman (was waiting) to see me.</span>

My favourite day is Sunday. this day i don't have to go to school, I don't have to clean the house. I have much free time. i usually meet my friends on Sunday. we go for a walk or listen to music or play different games. but we usually spend this day together, that is why Sunday is my favourite.
