Dear Kate,
There are many great scientists in my country. The names that come into my mind are Zhores Alferov, Nikolay Basov, Vladimir Bechterev, Mikhail Kalashnikov, Yevgeny Kaspersky, Yuri Lomonosov and many others. But the person who impressed me most is Pavel Durov. He is an entrepreneur who is best known for being the founder of the social networking site VK, and later the Telegram Messenger. He is young enough and was born in 1884. At school he was very skillful and his classmates called him erudite. He took part in different Maths and computer programming contests and Olympiads and won them. After university graduation he started site VK together with his brother. The first user joined the site in 2006 and two years later there were more than 20 mln users in VK. Later he sold it and founded Telegram. Now Pavel doesn't live in Russia, he got a citizenship of a small country The Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, but he doesn't live there. The passport of this country allows him to travel around the world. Pavel Durov is in the list of the richest people of Russia.
Write back soon.
Nikita.

Love is the best feeling in the world. Love makes the world go round. It is the greatest mystery of all times. If you ask someone “What is love?”, he or she will hardly find enough words to express its meaning. Love can be different. There is love for parents, love for children, love for animals, love for friends, first love, love for husband or wife, boyfriend or girlfriend. When you love someone or something, your heart and soul become warmer and kinder. People, who carry love in their hearts, are always happy and in good mood. Love helps to live and survive in the hardest moments of our lives. Almost all feelings in the world have some advantages or disadvantages. However, love has only advantages. It brings harmony and peace. The only type of love that can be painful is unrequited love. It’s when you love someone, but he or she doesn’t feel the same about you. It’s sad but it often happens. Moreover, I think that all people have experienced one-sided love at least once in their life. Again, I don’t think it’s a disadvantage of love. One-sided love teaches us something new, enriches with life experience and makes us stronger. Some wise men even say that one-sided love is better than . Another disadvantage of love is its role in wars. Many ancient wars started because of love to a woman. Still, I think that love is the most important thing in everyone’s life. That’s why poets make verses, directors shoot films and composers write songs about it. All people in the world want to love and to be loved. When love is mutual, it is the best thing that can ever happen to a man.

1Although the content and character of economics cannot be described briefly, numerous writers have attempted that.
2 An especially useless, though once popular, example is: «Economics is what economists do.»
3 notable economist of the last century Alfred Marshall called economics «a study of mankind in the ordinary business of life.»
4We may make better progress by comparing economics
with other subjects. Like every other discipline that attempts to
explain observed facts (e.g., physics, astronomy, meteorology),
economics comprises a vast collection of descriptive material organized
around a central core of theoretical principles. The manner in which
theoretical principles are formulated and used in
applications
varies greatly from one science to another. Like psychology, economics
draws much of its theoretical core from intuition, casual observation,
and «common knowledge about human nature.» Like astronomy, economics is
largely nonexperimental. Like meteorology, economics is relatively
inexact, as is weather forecasting. Like particle physics and molecular
biology, economics deals with an array of closely interrelated phenomena
(as do sociology and social psychology). Like such disciplines as art,
fantasy writing, mathematics, metaphysics, cosmology, and the like,
economics attracts different people for different reasons: «One person’s
meat is another person’s poison.» Though all disciplines differ, all
are remarkably similar in one respect: all are meant to convey an
interesting, persuasive, and intellectually satisfying story about
selected aspects of experience. As Einstein once put it: «Science is the
attempt to make the chaotic diversity of our sense-experience
correspond to a logically uniform system of thought.»
