Национальные газеты - это те, которые продаются по всей стране, имеют большой тираж и дают общие новости. Существует 2 типа национальных газет - "популярные" газеты "качественные газеты". Порулярные газеты меньше по размеру ( сжатая информация и много иллюстраций), с большим количеством иллюстраций, большими заголовками и маленькими статьями. Их легко читать и очень часто они содержат мало правдивой информации. Они дают много места для воображения. Обычно там есть "человеческие истории" - истории обычных людей и событий. Примером такого типа газеты является " Ежедневная почта", " Солнце", и т.д. Качественны газеты предназначены для более серьезного читателя, который хочет читать о политике и событиях за рубежом. Такие газеты как " Ежедневный телеграф" , " Опекун" больше по размеру ( их называют широкие листы), статьи в них длиннее и более развернутое изложение событий. У них есть отдельные страницы для местных новостей, иностранных дел, особых статей, моды, бизнеса, спорта и т.д. Люди в Британии покупают в воскресенье газет больше чем в течении недели. Воскресные газеты имеют больший тираж, чем ежедневные. Как и в ежедневные, воскресные газеты делятся на качественные и популярные. У качественных газет есть отдельная секция с цветными журналами( с большим количеством рекламы)
