sports, but some of them are really violent. So, should these kinds of sports
be banned or they are only a way to enjoy and relax?
There are several arguments
for banning violent sports. Firstly, people who take part in violent sports may
risk injury or death. A lot of these sportsmen are seriously injured every
year. Secondly, some sports are simply an excuse for violence. There is enough
violence in our modern world, without sportsmen getting hurt on TV.
On the other hand, there are
some arguments against banning these kinds of sports. Violent kinds of sports
can be a healthy way to relax and blow off steam. General aggression and
violence in our society will be reduced. Moreover, instead of banning violent
sports, it will be better to improve safety standards. So, injuries will be
reduced.
In conclusion, I would like
to say that all people want to live in peace and quiet. I believe that violent
kinds of sports must be banned because they are very traumatic, dangerous and
cruel.

But the main attraction, no doubt, is London places of interest. Among them there are: Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral, London Bridge, the Tower of London. On the Houses of Parliament one can see the famous Tower Clock Big Ben, the symbol of London. Big Ben is the real bell which strikes every quarter of an hour. Another place which you can admire is Buckingham Palace. It’s the residence of the Queen. London is also famous for its beautiful parks. Hyde Park is the most democratic park in the world, as anyone can say anything he likes there. Regent’s Park is the home of London Zoo.
Visiting this country, don't forget about its natural attractions such as the Highlands, Loch Ness, where some people think a large monster lives and the Lake District, the place, associated with the history of English literature.
