Last night I had a wonderful dream. This is what I was dreaming. We were taking a trip to Hawaii. I be with my family and two of my friends .We were in a ship and we were traveling to Honolulu. On the ship there was a disco . We were sitting in
nice seats and drinking exotic juices. [Last] of people were dancing and the
music was playing loudly. We were having a lot of fun! When the ship arrived in
Honolulu a man was waiting to take us to our hotel. The hotel where we were staying
was by a beach lined with palm trees. Drums were beating and people on the beach were singing and dancing to the music. The music was getting louder until I could hear a ringing in my ears. It was my alarm clock! It was 7 o`clock and time to get up for school.
On 1 May
1997, Andrew Terrill began a 7,000-mile walk from Italy to Norway.
His aim was
to raise £100,000 for homeless people in London.
He was both
excited and nervous.
His 35-kilo
rucksack contained food for 7 days, a tent and everything else he needed for travel.
Walking in
the Apennines was very hard.
The
mountains were covered in dense forest, and there were few footpaths.
He was
frequently lost.
There were
many lizards, deer, dangerous snakes and bears.
It was very
hot. The temperatures reached the mid-thirties.
There was
little water.
Mosquitoes
and the heat kept him awake at night.
He was
footsore and exhausted.
Sometimes he
tried hotels to relax and take a shower.
But hotels suddenly
became full.
At times,
in the Apennines, he wasn't at all happy.
However, the
local people helped him and were very friendly.
