Apple Cake Ingredients
<span>125 grams Plain White Flour (Allinson Nature Friendly)</span><span>100 grams Butter</span><span>2 Happy Eggs</span><span>100 grams Demerara Sugar (Billington's)</span><span>1 tsp Baking Powder</span><span>Water or fruit juice to mix</span>
How to make Apple Cake

Heat oven to 180°C/fan 160°C/Gas 4. Cream together the butter and sugar. Beat in eggs gradually Mix flour and Baking Powder together and fold in with the liquid to a soft mixture Pour into a greased swiss roll tin and spread evenly.
Peel core trim, and cut the apples into quarters. Slice finely Arrange on top of raw cake mix in rows
Sprinkle top with sugar and cinnamon Bake 25-30 minutes (Check after 25 minutes to ensure it isn't getting too browned)
Member top tip....You can add some cinnamon to the cake mix if you like. Or you can omit the apple and cinnamon and replace with chopped dates and walnuts

Cathy suggested that junk food advertisements should not be banned because it won't stop us from eating it.
