Попробую объяснить.)
By пишется, когда пытаются объяснить, что кем ( или чем) было сделано. Например:
Edited by Natalia ( редактираванно Натальей), Maked by machine ( сделано машиной).
On - пишется когда какой то предмет находится на чем то. Пример:
She sitting on the chair ( она сидит на стуле), the vase is located on the table (Ваза стоит на столе).
In - когда что-то находится внутри чего-то Пример:
There is four rooms in the home ( здесь 4-е комнаты в доме), there is many clothes in the wardrobe ( здесь много вещей в шкафу)
Сорьки если артикули the стоят там где не надо, я часто путаюсь в них(
