The truck raced along the wide sunny road. Putting her feet on the suitcase and leaning on a soft knot, Olga was sitting in a wicker chair. A ginger kitten was lying on her laps, trifling a bouquet of cornflowers. At the thirtieth kilometre they were overtaken by a marching red army motorcade. Sitting on wooden benches in rows, the red army soldiers held rifles aimed at the sky and sang in unison. At the sound of this song the windows and doors in the huts were opening wider.
