Есть правило, что если в слове больше, чем два слога, то для формы comparatiives ты перед словом ставишь more (то есть "более". Пример: more <span>intelligent - более интеллигентен). А для формы superlatives добавляешь перед словом "the most" - в русском это приставка "самый" то есть "самый интеллигентный" .
