Newspaper is a publication that presents and comments on the news. Newspapers play an important role in shaping public opinion and informing people of current events.
Newspapers have certain advantages over other mass media- magazines, tv and radio. Newspaper can cover more news and much detail than tv or radio newcast can do. There are about 1700 daily and 7500 weekly newspapers in the US. Daily newspapers print world, national and local news. Many dailies are morning paper, others are afternoon papers. Sunday issues of the dailies are usually larger than weekday ones.
Weekly newspaper serve usually for smaller areas. Most weeklies do not print world or national news.
My favourite book is Sherlock Holmes. The author of this book is Arthur Conan Doyle. I like it ver much. There speakes about deductive method of Holmes. THe story was writing from the best friend of Holmes-Dr. Watson. Most of all i liked one story, which name is treasures of Agra. For the Holmes it was very interesting case, for the manifestation of mental abilities. it took him a little time to make up a logical chain, to trace the criminal and punish them. i admire of his method. i should like to be like him, to be so clever, like him...
Unfortunately it's a fictional man, but he will be in our hearts forever.

Sport is very important in our life. It is popular among young and old people. Many people do morning exercises, jog in the morning, train them self's in clubs and different sections.
I'm absolutely sure that doing sports is the best way to keep fit. There is always a kind of sport which will suit you and there are many different kinds to choose from. If you like team games, try hockey, football, volleyball or basketball. Games for you to play with a friend include badminton, squash and tennis, and if you enjoy doing things on your own, you may take up swimming, riding, golf or athletics.
As for me, I can’t imagine my life without sport. In summer I go jogging every morning and when I have free time I attend swimming pool. In winter I like to skate with my friends. It’s fun. Also I’m fond of aerobics. First of all aerobics helps to keep myself fit. It also attracts me because it resemblesdancing.
In conclusion I’d like to say that I’m absolutely sure that doing sports is the best way to keep fit. Sport makes our bodies strong, it prevents us from getting too fat, and makes us more self-organized and better disciplined.
