Мистецтво посідає унікальне місце у духовному життісуспільства завдяки своїй поліфункціональності<span>. </span>Майжекожна з функцій мистецтва являється "дублером" тої чиіншої форми практичної діяльності людини<span>: </span>існує наука,призначення якої - вивчення і пізнання оточуючого світу,але і мистецтво - пізнання<span>, </span>є педагогіка<span>, </span>але і мистецтво -засіб виховання<span>, </span>існують мова та сучасні засобикомунікації<span>, </span>а мистецтво - особлива мова і засібінформації.
Різноманітні види діяльності людини не підміняютьмистецтво<span>, </span>або мистецтво не заміщає ні одну з формдіяльності людини<span>, </span>а навпаки<span>, </span>воно специфічновідтворює<span>, </span>моделює кожну з них<span>. </span>В цьому і полягаєосновна особливість мистецької діяльності в їївсезагальній формі.
