Leonardo da Vinci was born on April 15, 1452 in the village of Anciano, near the small town of Vinci, not far from Florence at "three o'clock in the morning" that is at 22:30 according to the modern time reference [source not specified 918 days]. Noteworthy entry in the diary of Leonardo's grandfather, Antonio da Vinci (1372-1468) (literal translation): "On Saturday, at three o'clock in the morning of April 15, my grandson, the son of my son Piero, was born. The boy was named Leonardo. His father was baptized by Piero di Bartolomeo. " His parents were the 25-year-old notary Pierrot (1427-1504) and his lover, the peasant Katerina. Leonardo spent the first years of his life with his mother. His father soon married a rich and noble girl, but this marriage was childless, and Piero took his three-year-old son to be raised. Separated from his mother, Leonardo tried all his life to recreate her image in his masterpieces. At that time he lived with his grandfather.
In Italy at that time, illegitimate children were treated almost like legal heirs. Many influential people of the city of Vinci took part in the future fate of Leonardo.
When Leonardo was 13 years old, his stepmother died during childbirth. The father got married again - and again soon became a widower. He lived 77 years, was married four times and had 12 children. Father tried to attach Leonardo to the family profession, but without success: the son was not interested in the laws of society.
Leonardo did not have a surname in the modern sense; "Da Vinci" means simply "(native) from the town of Vinci." His full name is Italian. Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci, that is, "Leonardo, the son of Mr. Pierrot of Vinci."

To begin
with, I would like to say that almost everybody is fond of traveling. Any trip
gives us new knowledge and develops our memory and interests. First, during the
travel you can rest and relax. Second, you will learn a lot about traditions
and people from other cities and countries. Thirdly, you can just enjoy the
nature and beauty around you.
Trips are different. There are many bus-tours
around your own country, when you travel hundreds of miles, stay in hotels,
take pictures and make friends with new people. Another kind of travel is
tourism. You can travel to another country and enjoy nature, explore new
places, live in the camp and? of
course, make new friends and buddies.
There are a lot of people who prefer cruises. They have sailed on a ship or a
yacht for a few days, enjoying the beauty of the sea, visiting different cities
and ports. Some people love the beach rest. They travel to the sea, enjoy
swimming, they like to eat exotic food. Many people travel by planes. They fly
great distances from their home and want to see other countries and peoples. I
want to say that during all travel you should remember about your own safety.
As for me I would like to say that great weather, warm sea and a lot of
sightseeing make me happy. In summer I
love to go to the Black sea coast of Russia, to Anapa or Sochi. These are very
beautiful sea cities, full of sun, warmth and joy. The nature is very

unforgettable sight!
