Family is the Foundation of our society. Once our parents fell in love with each other and decided to get married. Then their family had children. And in a few years we will become adults and want to create a family.
A real family is more than just being related. This is a special attitude to each other, love, mutual respect, help. This is when each person is unique and irreplaceable, as well as what he brings to the family. This grandmother's fairy tales and delicious pies, it's mom's care, dad's help and attention. Family is when even your pet is its full member.
Unfortunately, families are different, as are the relationships in them. For example, someone constantly quarrels with each other, and sometimes even can fight. And sometimes quite the contrary-all in the family seemed completely indifferent to each other, not interested in any business, no interests, no problems, do not know who lives what. There are a lot of jokes about it. For example, about how the father takes someone else's child from the kindergarten. I think there is some sad truth in all such stories.

Not so long ago I read a book by the well-known French writer Jules Verne. The title of the book is "The Mysterious Island".
It is a mystery and adventure novel that was published in 1874. The plot of the book is incredibly interesting. In fact, it is a sequel to Verne's famous "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea" and "In Search of the Castaways". The book tells us about the adventures of five Americans on an unknown island in the South Pacific. The action starts during the American Civil War when five northern prisoners of war decide to escape by hijacking a balloon. The novel tells us how these five people managed to survive on the island, producing fire, pottery, bricks, gunpowder, iron and even a simple electric telegraph... My favoutite character is Cyrus Smith, a brilliant engineer.
The book is full of mysteries which are explained in the end. There are a lot of humorous and sad episodes in the book. The saddest one is when the five men meet Captain Nemo who tells them his story and dies.
To sum it up I can say the book was so exciting that I couldn't put it down. If you like reading adventure novels, I advise you to read it.
Last Sunday I and my friend decided to go to the lake to swim.The weather was fine that day.It was sunny and hot.We were wearing shorts and T-shirts.I was carrying a big bag with our things and my friend was holding a big ball in her hand.We were walking and listening the birds' songs.Our mood was wonderful.Suddenly a big cloud appeared in the sky and it covered the sun.It was going to rain.When we saw that cloud we decided to come back home.While we were running home it was raining cats and dogs.When we arrived home we were wet to the skin.We weren't upset at all because it was very funny.
