A room was on the 4th floor. It was the 405. A porter gave Sue a key and said a lift didn’t work because it was after midnight. A heavy suitcase was killing her when she was climbing the last flight of stairs. Sue stepped into a dark corridor, the room was at the end of corridor and when she opened the door and found herself in a small hall she felt the happiest woman in the world. She put on the light. It was a very small room with a tiny table by a window, a chair, a mirror on the wall. There was a bed against a wall and a picture over it. Sue sat on the bed and started thinking about plans for next day. Suddenly she heard a knock at the door.
