Если не ошибаюсь то здесь надо использовать past simple и past continuous
While/when можно считать словами помощниками - здесь используется Past continuous, вторая часть - past simple.
1) entered - прошлой ночью парень вошел в комнату(PS), в то время как она разговаривала(PC) по телефону с другим мальчиком
2)slept - не могу быть увереной в этом, стоит самой проверить
3) was already ending - вроде так(не знаю)
4) was watching - слово-помощник at ten o'clock yesterday - указание конкретного времени
5) went - слово помощник in 2010
6) без понятия, Если честно
7)were having
8) had found - слово помощник before
9) was working - одновременные, оба носят длительный характер
10)Did - слово-помощник yesterday
11) b - слово-помощник by the time
