Мальчик Вася, так как он был очень любопытным, решил спросить, что происходит, у директора, он пришёл к нему в домик и видит: сидит тот и гложет кости, Вася испугался и хотел убежать, но директор поймал его и отрезал Васе язык, а на следуюшее утро все пропавшие дети вернулись, но вели себя странно: ни с кем не играли и молчали.
Однажды Васе удалось сбежать из лагеря, он пошёл в милицию и написал на бумажке обо всем, что было в лагере. Милиционеры приехали в лагерь, допросили директора, но ничего не узнали и уехали. А потом пропал и Вася: он пошёл гулять в лес у лагеря и увидел старый разрушенный корпус, зашел туда и увидел своих пропавших товарищей, но те были прозрачными и все время стонали. Заметив Васю, они накинулись на него и убили, а потом пришёл директор и сожрал его ноги, ведь призракам они ни к чему, те и так летают...
