The atmosphere is informal.
Fast restaurants are the same everywhere, so you know exactly what you want.

1 I think fast food restaurants are rather cheap.
2 Fast food is convenient when you are in a hurry.
3 You can put it into your bag, it takes little place.
4 One can be fed by fast food very quickly.

But all the same I don't recommend you to use fast food as it is proved that it's not useful for health. Use it very rare when there is no way out .
