Dear Sarah,
I’ve learnt recently that you are a super girl! It’s really great!
You’ve found strength enough to struggle such an awful disease as anorexia! I respect you for your will. You should know that your recovery is an encouraging
example for hundreds of other people, who suffer the same disease. Don’t stop here. I think you know that very
often girls like you, in some difficult moments of depression may come back to
the idea that they couldn’t help returning to ill addiction of skipping meals.
I do hope you are sure it’s not your case and you will never do it again. You
should never have low self-esteem, but should believe in yourself. You should
always say to yourself that you were strong!!! Be patient. Besides, you should
always remember that there is your dearest Mummy nearby and you can trust her
any moment. Some day you’ll be mother too. In difficult moments think of your
future children. Find some interesting hobby. Make friends at the University.
Always sing your favourite song and don’t pay much attention to the opinion of those
people who surround you. Love yourself and enjoy life. Your happiness now when
you are healthy is in your hands. I believe in you! Good Luck!

Doctor: I have some bad news and some
very bad news.
Patient: Well, might as well give me
the bad news first.
Doctor: The lab called with your test
results. They said you have 24 hours
to live.
Patient: 24 HOURS! That's terrible!
WHAT could be WORSE? What's the very bad news?
Doctor: I've been trying to reach you
since yesterday.
Computers: A blessing or a curse?
Computers have just recently entered our lives and have already become a thing we can't live without. There is a lot of controversy going around whether computers are good or bad. Most people can no longer imagine their lives without a computer. Looking up the weather on your phone or tablet seems like such an ordinary task but just a few years ago it wasn't. It's incredible how far science has gone so fast.
I think that computers are a blessing. Multiple things could be done much faster via computers. For example, computers are capable to calculate extremely complex maths in an instant. Adding up to that, they can even generate monstrous algorithms doing impossible previously thought impossible things. Computers can store a huge amount of information in a condensed space. Libraries are now mostly replaced with search engines, mostly because it's such a faster method of finding what you need.
On the other hand, spending way too much time on the computer could negatively affect your eyesight and health overall. Moreover, surfing the Net could drag you in for a long amount of time, wasting a lot of it. Plus, propaganda and adverts are inevitable when Internet-surfing. I can't disagree that people should not sit in front of the screen for hours, to avoid health complications.
To sum up, I think that the invention of computers is a critical moment in our history. For sure, computers are much more advantageous than the opposite, and being careful and attentive could leave out all the negative effects of the computers from your life, so I'd certainly consider the invention of the computers a blessing.
