I'm a busy person and I have quite a little of free time. But in my free time I love walking with my friends. We love going to the river or for the picnic in summer or to the cafe or playing snowballs in winter.
Furthermore, I love reading. Sometimes I can spend hours in the local library, but more often I read on my computer or telephone.
At present, gender relations, the distribution of the roles of men and women in society, represent one of the most urgent and urgent areas for study in the social sciences. For several decades scientists have been conducting various studies to assess the level of perception of women in different professions as an equal to a man. The society is rapidly developing, and the beautiful half of humanity dynamically expands the range of its possible activities. So, in the oil and gas industry today, not only boys but also girls are striving to work, receiving a higher special education. Therefore, the question of the perception of women's employment in this sphere inevitably arises.
In this study:
- described a survey of contemporary students about their perception of women in the oil and gas sector;
- analysis of the results obtained;
- an image of a woman "oilman" was revealed.
The obtained data allow not only to assess the possibility of women's self-realization in the oil and gas industry, but also to determine the level of gender stereotyping in the younger generation.
