<span>On Tuesday I got up at half past six. </span>I went to the bathroom and washed my hands and face and cleaned my teeth. Then I dressed, went to the kitchen and cooked breakfast for my family. A<span>t half past seven my son got up and had breakfast. </span>I had breakfast with my son. My son ate a sandwich and drank a cup of tea.I didn't drink tea. I drank coffee. After breakfast my son left home for school. I didn't leave home with my son. On Tuesday I didn't work in the morning. I worked in the afternoon. In the evening I was at home. My husband and my son were at home too. We rested in the evening. My son watched TV, my husband read newspapers and I did some work about the house. <span>At about eleven o’clock we went to bed. </span>
Her name is Maria Smirnova. She is 12 years old and she lives in the beautiful town of St Petersburg. Her daily routine is the typical of most students her age. She gets up at 7:00 a.m. and after a quick breakfast she walks to school. School starts at 8:00 a.m. and finishes at 2:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday. There are 30 students in her class and they have 6-7 lessons. Each lesson lasts 45 minuets with a 10-minute break in between. Her favorite lessons are history and maths. They are both very interesting. They have lunch at school canteen during the longer break in the afternoon. They have many exciting things to do at school after classes. On Tuesday and Thursday she has guitar lessons. After school she goes home and eats a snack before she starts doing her homework. She always has lots of homework to do and it usually takes her 2-3 hours to finish it. Around 6 o'clock in the evening she has dinner with her family. She enjoys this time because on the weekdays it's the only chance they have to relax and be together as a family. After dinner she usually watches TV. She likes watching Sports and Music shows. Sometimes she plays chess with her father. Most nights she goes to bed at 10:30 p.m. and reads for a while before sho goes to sleep.
