The person i admire is Yuri Gagarin.


Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin was born on March 9, 1934, in a small village a hundred miles from Moscow. When Gagarin grew up and graduated school and continued studies at the industrial college in Saratov, concurrently took a course in flying. On completing this course, he entered the Soviet Air Force cadet school at Orenburg, from which he graduated in 1957. More than 200 Russian Air Force fighter pilots were selected as cosmonaut candidates. Gagarin, a 27-year-old senior lieutenant at the time, was among the pilots selected. On April 12, 1961 he take first flight in the history of mankind. Before the flight he said “Go” and then Gagarin traveled around the Earth once, reaching a maximum height of 327 kilometers. It was, probably, the most exciting and meaningful experience in 20 century and Gagarin made a huge contribution in development of science and technologies. So, we must thanks Gagarin for all things he did to our generate.
