Dear Maryna
I was very glad to receive your letter again . Thank you for telling me about your summer holiday . As for me I went to the sea during my holidays too. I was in Yalta by the Black Sea for three weeks. The weather was fine sometimes hot and I bathed in the sea every day . After Yalta and Black Sea I went to Zaporozhya and Dnipropetrovsk . These places are closely connected with the heroic struggle of the Ukrainian people for the freedom . There we made very interesting excursions . In August I did not go anywhere . I stayed in Kyiv . I went to the cinemas , theatres and museums , read books and prepared for the new school year. I know that you always spend your holidays together with your elder brother Sasha . Was Sasha at the rest camp with you? Tell me about it, please , in your next letter .
Your friend , Svitlana .
